2007 was a good year.2008 will be better.=)
In 2007..
i completed my main objective in coming poly.attachment.
As expected, i had a closeup on politics,endured 8-5 lifeless life,learnt abit of study related work.
not exactly as expected, i learnt to like school alot more,travelled a hell lot in cabs all over sg,saw a big pig who walks especially slow until we termed him a fire harzard,saw at least 5 angels.
i chose finance in the last sem.
fp turns out a good choice.the topics interest me and ben tan is quite a good tutor, except that he looks like chimpanzee.now i m 80% sure of goin into finance at work.20% will wait till i m done with NS to see how the market is like.
i changed my perspective on news.
on the late night of 23/12/07,me n 4 other bastards sacrifice slp to play risk n talk.on the talk cock session after the risk,we basically said about things being done on false fronts/reasons and the real motives behind.some i knew some i didnt.so for the things i didnt know about, i actually stopped gamings for the next few days to read up over the net.now u noe why i said they were bastards.not many can make me sacrifice games for world issues.but it was quite worth it.the moon landing shit was an eye opener.as was the 9/11 incident.i dont tink i will ever gonna juz accept the news without tinking thru.
in 2008...
i will be in NS.
the more u suffer together, the better frens u become.lesson learnt from 5yrs of running.in track, there was exhaustion,drenched in rain n mud,siao sun,chased by monkey n snake.NS shld b much worse.so better frens?abo lets juz say 2yrs will be fast.
i will go into stocks.
briefly glancing thru the market now.the real thing will start some time later.i m pretty sure there will be an asian crisis soon.dun tink the govt will let a boom peak for so long,esp since the '96 incident.so i m waiting for this to happen b4 i go in.juz hoping the crisis will be in '08 or i will have wasted 1yr.in the meantime,time to save up.
